Climate scientist, specializing in physical oceanography with over six years of research experience including a Master of Science degree. Lead reporting physical oceanographer for the Newfoundland and Labrador region, providing scientific advice and consultation on the setting of yearly fishery quotas, engaging with multiple stakeholders (Indigenous fisheries, industry, NGOs, etc.) on culturally and economically important species. Skilled in thoroughly researching a scientific method of interest, implementing it, and then presenting it in an efficient and effective manner. Published scientific author with experience communicating research findings in both oral and written presentations. Proficient in Python and Ubuntu, with an emphasis on the physical and statistical analysis of large spatio-temporal climate data sets and model output.
